Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by Gorilla Quest Africa’s professional safari guide. You will then be transferred to your luxury hotel where you can relax after your flight. Depending on your arrival time, you may visit the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or enjoy a sunset walk along the shores of Lake Victoria. In the evening, enjoy a gourmet welcome dinner and a safari briefing.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

After an early breakfast, depart for Murchison Falls National Park with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Continue to the park and stop at the top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile River forces its way through a narrow gorge before plunging into the valley below. Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Cruise in Murchison Falls

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest

Today is the highlight of your safari, an experience of a lifetime. After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing from the Uganda Wildlife Authority guides before setting off into the dense forest in search of a gorilla family. The trek can take several hours depending on the location of the gorillas, but the reward is beyond words. Standing just meters away from a family of mountain gorillas, observing their interactions and listening to their deep grunts, is one of the most profound wildlife encounters in the world. You will have an hour to observe and photograph these gentle giants before trekking back to the starting point. Spend the afternoon at leisure or take an optional community walk to meet the Batwa people, the original forest dwellers who share their traditional stories and music.

Day 8: Departure

Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel or directly to the airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your remarkable safari adventure.
